With banks still full of pretend wealth

It's business as usual
As the earth slowly goes out of business

We have spent so much
overdrawn on every account

And we keep borrowing
Unsecured debt to the planet

With no plans of repaying
No means of clearing our liability

Poor governance from the directors
Inadequate performance from the management
Bad advice from the consultants

And no excuse from the rest of us
For blindly accepting what was not ours
For receiving stolen goods
